The start of my Christmas Album Mini's-DCWV Mrs. Claus's Recipe Stack

I totally fell in love with the DCWV Mrs. Claus's Recipe stack. I had to make a christmas mini for a swap and also planned to make a christmas mini for me .....using this stack.....As I made the mini ...I really liked the way it was turning out...and decided to make another....because I also had to make another for a different swap I am participating in...I decided to use the same paper stack to make three different minis....  One of the ladies love snowmen...Can you tell which of these minis are going to her?????....(hehe..) Terry ...."No Peeking".....I have great plans for all of the minis ...as the paper is super gorgeous.  I am going to just let my imagination flow with these....because the ideas just keep coming....(It must be the paper......hehe....).....I am so loving this paper............I am going to use this same paper to make my tags for my December Christmas Tag swap........(hehe..I'm really excited about making them now).... that should really be a challenge....How different can I make each of them look using the same paperline......????.....

Here are the minis that I started so far...I have all of the pages covered and I am now (planning) to finish with the embellies over Thanksgiving holidays.......I'll make a video once I complete all of the minis.......but right now ...this is a sneak peak of what I've done so far...............TFL everyone........and check back later (after the Thanksgiving holidays) to see the completed minis.........                                                                                                         (click on pic for larger image)

Challenge -Top Note Card- SU Die vs. Storybook Cart

Top Note card using Storybook Cart

Okay....Several of the ladies were attending a crop this past weekend....and sent us some of their projects they completed at workshops/make and takes, etc. Stampin' Up has a new Top Notecard Die, but we did not have it ....so for this challenge we "improvised" .....using the Storybook cart......Thank you, Lisa, for sharing with us this past weekend and for allowing us to use your worshop project as one of "The Sista" challenges. Here is my take on the Top Notecard....TFL..
  • Cut 2- 5" Once Upon A time/Accent Blackout (or cut 3)
  • Leave (1)- original size
  • Cut - (1) - into 2 pieces......1/4-top - use 3/4 piece for bottom
If you use double-sided-(DS), Printed paper(PP)- it will match perfectly*****
  • Cut about 1/4" off each side of the 1/4 piece so that it fits nicely on the card.
  • score top of both cards 1/4' to make pockets..for tags...
