I was "off" Tuesday....... had to work on my "Off Day" Monday...and I had already planned to do some organzing, purging and cleanup in my scraproom........So....I promised to do some Scrapbook shopping for my sister....(I am on a Scrapstuff spending ban....so shopping for her "satisfies" my urge to buy something scrappy...)(hehe..) anyway.....while I was out shopping for her...I found a multimedia cabinet that looked like it would work well for my cartridge storage....I understand that it leaves absolutely no room for growth (And I am NOT buying anymore carts for a while anyway).......but at this point....I just needed space for my cartridges so that I could see what I have....And ....guess what?....while doing this.....I found that I had two "Rock Princess" carts......sooooo......I put the extra one in my sisters box that I am sending her.....She'll get a kick out of that......(hehe...)
Well, I was using a 1x5 IKEA Expedit shelf that I have lying as a base....But I had to stack the carts one in front of the other in order to store all of them.....So the Expedit was not working for me for cartridge storage because I could not see what I had.......I moved a couple of the Plastic drawer towers that I had on top of the Expedit (they house a lot of my stamps, Tim Holtz and Sizzix dies...)....and I placed the Multimedia center in their place....Now I can see all of my carts that I have in the space....
I did have to use the Expedit for some of the carts because the multimedia center would not house all of my carts..... I placed my Licensed carts in one of the cubbies and placed my solutions in a decorative box that use to hold drawer liners. I used plastic canvas to keep them in place.......I think this solution will work for now......
I had a pretty successful day of organizing...(I think)........And yes, this was the "Only" thing I organized.....(hehe...) but I was pretty happy with the results......But .....I have a lonnnnnnng weekend coming up.....Hurry up 6:00p Thursday......I am looking forward to organizing some more.....TFL...(click on pics for larger images)

Ok, very constructive. Now come to my house and help me sort through 3 grocery bags full of scraps. I color coordinate them so they are easier to find. Tomorrow after 3pm would be great.

Looking good!
Glad to hear everything is coming together -- it looks so nice you'd never know it was disorganized!!!
Your shelf looks great. It is nice to have them where you can see what exactly you have. As far as not buying any carts for awhile...good luck on that it never works for me.
Fantastic job! Wow! What a task!
Great idea! I struggle with the solution carts. Looks good. Your sister will love the surprise you sent.
Dee your studio looks awesome, you'll have to show us full pic's some time!
