Okay......it's not quite finished. I do have a couple of lil metal embellies,...and a few more tags and mats I'd like to add AND....... I want to do a video of all of the pages. I will probably get a chance to do that this weekend. I have to thank Kathy at "Paper Phenomenon" for this challenge.....And a "challenge" it was....
Ladies and gents.......If you are looking for loads of fun with paper and technique.and just about everything Tim Holtz...."This is It"......Loads and loads of fun........and if you are looking for some relaxing time ...Making this album is "on target".......It was sooo very relaxing...........This album is packed with so many techniques, ideas and loads of real estate....There are pockets and mats "everywhere" ....
The You tube videos that she did are nine episodes .... full of step by step instructions and dimensions for making the album.....She is also offering kits for this project.....so if you don't have all of the products.......and don't want to go out and hunt for all of them (TH items are sometimes hard to find).....she has them for sale (first come- first serve) so you may want to check out her blog now. I was fortunate enough to have all of the products that she used .....a few of the jewelry pieces I had to purchase.....and hunting for those were loads of fun also.
The amazing thing about this album is Kathy figured out how to use his entire stash....2x2's, 6x6's - baby mini albums-lil tiny mini albums, pouches- she even made embellishments with the paper.....Yes, 36 pages of nothing but Tim Holtz......Every sheet of his collection.......Amazing Huh????
So ...here goes.......Making this made me feel like I accomplished .....a lot........(hehe....)......I did change it up ....a bit...because I am not good at following scrapbook instructions to a tee....(hehe...)..I always try to put my own creative twist to scrapbooking. ...so this was really a challenge for me....but I went ahead and created what she made........And ......I enjoyed this soooo much.....most of it is basically the same way she made it....except the order of the paper......And I am sure I was not stuck in a box.......because it was TH...I'm sure that helped a lot...(hehe..).....so I was still able to let my creative juices flow.......
.......So...how did I do?????....I absolutely "love" this "Tim Holtz-Lost and Found" Super Mini Album....Oh, and Kathy had not come up with a name for it yet...She did mention that she was going to name it something like "Lots of Pockets" or something to that effect...........Again...Thanks for sharing Kathy...Your creativity is endless....Amazing job you did.................and TFL everyone.....(for larger images ...click on pic)
