Non-traditional Valentines Day Card- 6x6

This is a project I did for the GSP Challenge this week......It is a Non-traditional Valentines Day Card.  The idea was to make a valentines day card, LO or ATC without using the traditional pink, red or white...

I used "Dazzles" from Hot off the Press, Stacked Heart Stickers...If you haven't tried "Dazzles" you really have to give them a try...I got mine from Paperwishes...IMHO.....(hehe- And Yes, I am enabling...)........ These are the absolute best....I researched these for a while...... got a shipment in right before the storm......and after using them ...(Love, love, love them.....)....of course.......I had to order more.......(hehe....).......And I plan to do a series of cards during these Snow Days.......

I used Metallic Black and Gold foil papers by Grafix and Best Occassions  and Dots & Stripes Paper Stack  from Hot Off the Press.

Paperwishes also have webisodes that are really great at instructing how to use them...They have quite a few ideas that I am going to incorporate in a few of my cards.........TFL

"Inspire - 6x6 Card- Spellbinders

Wow......this is the only card I completed today. I literally spent all day trying to complete several projects and this is the only card I was able to complete. Talk about loosing your Mojo.....I'm going to find mine tonight....(hehe...) I used the older Spellbinders pendant shapeabilities and the circle classic nestabilities. The newer Spellbinders (Shapeabilities) are out already and I have not even used half the older ones that I have ....Yes...I have a lot of catching up to do.....

"Inspire"- A Child's Play Card

I wanted to give "A Child's Play" a try and decided to make this card...I also wanted to see what I would do with the Ne "DCWV" Mainstreet Stack and this is what I came up with.....I liked the paper because it looked like the sihouettes on the cartridge. I used the Icon feature on the "A Child's Play Cart....TFL....

"Tea Time"- "Dreams Do Come True" Card

Okay, I kind of killed two birds with one stone sorta ...with this challenge...I made this card for "two" cahllenges really. The "Cricut Crafters Unite" thread had a challenge where you had to use ANY catridge that you had not used in the last month and the Challenges/Projects Blog's challenge was "Layering"....so I chose Disney's "Dreams Do Come True"......I used the Teapot and cup.....This was a fun challenge and it satisfied both challenges.......

I layered this card about three times....Though you cannot tell....I used DCWV and American Crafts Cardstock....(Two tones of Pink, and white ) ....and layered it again with a stripped transparency (acetate...).....So ...okay four times.....I also pop-dotted it for dimesion.....TFL....
