The tags must be in the Brag Book in the order in which they were created over the nine days. There must be a way in which you display/provide the recipe for each tag. You must have at least one cut from a die-cutting device -- Cricut, Cuttlebug, MS Punch, etc. -- whichever one you use doesn't matter. You must create a cover. The cover must have a sentiment and an image stamp and the acrylic paint resist technique

Tim times Ten Scrappin'Dymonz Grand Giveaway Challenge- Challenge #9- Dimensional Tag

Wow...Day Nine.....2 more challenges and we are almost to the end...That's really sad because I had such a great time creating these tags and trying out different techniques....The creativity was awesome over at Stampin'Dymonz Scrap Shack.  Take a look at all of the great projects and ideas the ladies came up with....
Today's challenge is to create a dimensional tag.  At least two elements must lift up off the page. The edges of the tag should be inked. At least one dimensional flower and 3 buttons should be incorporated in the design.

So...here is my take on this challenge.....................

Tim times Ten Stampin' Dymonz Grand Giveaway. - Challenge #8-Distress Tag

Wow...We are at Challenge #8 already.........Have you checked out the tags the ladies have been creating over at Stampin Dymonz Scrap Shack ????..........  Loads of creativity ladies.......And so much fun......We are down to Day 8- Challenge #8.  For this tag we had to use a distress technique. Use a minimum of 3 colors of ink, at least 1 image stamp and 1 sentiment stamp. You must color your sentiment stamp using two different ink colors and stamp -- this should be one press on the tag and not "stamp one color, clean stamp, stamp second color." A unique piece of ribbon or other embellishment should be used for the hole in the tag

And here is my take on the challenge....I am a little rushed right now.........and just finished my tag but....This is my first attempt........with the final pic of my completed tag.. (Yep...) I'm going to do a "Do-over"...Just for "MY" satisfaction.....(Hehe..).......I just have to make it right.....(so....check back later....)

Front of tag  (click on pic for larger image)
I sprayed my surface with water  first and placed three small lines of ink on surface. Placed tag on top of ink mixture and then placed paper on top of tag to get rid of excess ink.  Heat dryed.
The sentitments are very small....But there are two.....One reads "Live the LOVE you've imagined"...and the other "Art is the Shadow of what a person is thinking"....from the Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous "Mini Muse" stamp collection

Tim times Ten Stampin' Dymonz Grand Giveaway. - Challenge #7-Acetate Tag w/winter or fall theme

Okay Ladies and Gents....This challenge made me dig deep (hehe...)....I thought about this challenge all day.....I've created plenty of acetate cards and tags and I have never second guessed myself like I did with this challenge.....I jotted down ideas throughout the day......and decided whatever the ideas..I would just take the instructions and go with it.........I almost could not plan what I would do...I could only think of the products I would use.......

Okay for Challenge #7 @ Stampin' Dymonz Scrap Shack we had to make an Acetate Tag.  The acetate must be dry embossed and it must be inked. The tag must be two-layered, include an image, and you must use some type of "dimensional" product to embellish your image ...... (fun flock, flower soft, heat embossing, etc.)  the tag should depict a cold scene -- could be winter or fall and does not have to include snowmen/snow, just ensure you make a good representation of colder weather. The acetate should be from some packaging that you may have at your craft spot in order that you recycle the plastic and help prevent us from killing our own planet with non-biodegradable materials such as plastic...

And here is my take on the challenge...Hope it depicts Fall chilly weather with a lil touch of snow....That's what it feels like in my neck of the woods today...It's almost Spring......... Feels like Fall.....and today you  need scarf, gloves, hat, etc. like winter.....and looks like it's going to be like this the remainder of the week....... (sad face..)

Front view -Both Tags (click on pic for larger image)
                                                       Front view - Top tag

I embossed the acetate using Tim Holtz Alteration Texture Fade-Branch Tree.  I inked it ( did not ink the image of the tree) with StazOn Black Ink Pad.

                                                                                                                Top of Tag

Tim times Ten Stampin' Dymonz Grand Giveaway. - Challenge #5-Coloring w/Copics Card Tag

Okay....Halfway through the challenges @ Stampin' Dymonz Grand Giveaway.  (hehe...) Yesterday I forgot to link my project.....My bad...So I did that first.......So on to the challenge....

Challenge #5 - Cut a tag on the fold  (card tag) and use 2 different color copics(or marker of choice)... on the image. I used Copics since I had them....You also had to use a mat distressed by sanding.

My image is a Vellum embossed butterfly x 2 for a 3D effect . I choose to color both images using a blending technique.  I choose vellum because Copics move easily and blends perfectly on it.  I used four different colors.  3 of the colors were in the same family (purple, violet and Blue violet and Cranium Yellow.  The yellow merely lightens the darker colors).  For the mat I used lightly sanded  glassine paper because it gives the paper a great distressed look.  I used TH Distressed stain (Wild Honey) on the glassine paper.  The glassine paper gives a distressed look if crumbled.  If sanded it shows deeper variations of the color used.(in this case TH Distressed stain-Wild Honey)

Tim times Ten Stampin' Dymonz Grand Giveaway. - Challenge #4- 4-paneled Tag Mini

Whew...this was really a challenge.  For me the challenge was not making the accordion tag....it was not even making the accordion tag a "Spring/Springbreak theme....My challenge was making the accordion Spring tag mini  using Tim Holtz product....Incorporating Tim Holtz product  is just my own personal challenge .  I just want to see how much of his product I could actually use....so yes, I am challenging myself to use Tim Holtz for "every" challenge...I was okay the first few challenges......His product just kind of flowed naturally with what the challenge was......And then came ....Challenge #4....(hehe...)

Our challenge was to make a 4-paneled tag.  .....We were also challenged to cut words  and ink them......This was soooo much fun...I did not know which way I was going with this one.....But.....here it is.....TFL....Oops.... I forgot to place the link to the challenge site @ Stampin'Dymonz Scrap Shack.

My Accordion Tag is a "Spring Couture" Mini....I purchased the DCWV "Lady Couture" stack a while back and vowed to use it.....Perfect timing for me....I was going in another direction earlier...but squashed that project ...and started this one..... I cutout "Spring Couture" using PC Don Juan- cut @ .5" and inked with White Joanns essential ink.
                                                                                       (Folded Accordion Tag) (Front panel)

Front view of Accordion Tag.  The back panel has a tag with one of the ladies cutout and glued on  the front side of the tag.  The lady on the 3rd tag is also a cutout.  But only adhered to the panel.  I did not do anything to the second panel.
another view  with flip side of tag

Back view of tag with the jornaling tags in place

View of panels without the journaling tags.  I embossed images of  Tim Holtz  Haberdashery stamps to the panels and used Tim Holtz ruler ribbon as inserts for the journaling tags.
