Okay....I wanted to post this today....before I started my day...(hehe....)...I am trying not to get behind again.....Anywho...I am having loads of fun with the "Crafter's Companion" "Enveloper"- not to be confused with the "Ultimate Crafter's Companion"- but it is an Upgrade of the same.........but first let me give a little update on the "Ultimate" Crafter's Companion (UCC)......First of all...I do not want to assume that everyone knows that the UCC is an upgraded "All-in-One"-(AIO)- Scoreboard, Enveloper, and Embosser in a box....with a few added gadgets....Well...... the hinges "do not" hold the box together, (matter of fact- the "hinges do not SNAP securely and are not strong enough to hold the box together)....AND the clasp falls off of the handle....The product itself...is a working product...and "I like it".........but am not happy that I paid for a "concept" that is not working as indicated...So...I called http://www.cameraworld.com/ and they offerred to send me a Return Merchandise Authorization-(RMA) and get a refund......Okay...I declined the refund and RMA and told them I wanted to keep the product...the product worked....I just wanted the "replacement clasp and hinge" needed to make good the product....So they called my order in to their Merchandising Center only to find there are replacement hinges and clasps....and would send me an email letting me know "when" the replacements were being sent out.....Okay.....So I wait patiently....and..... in the meantime...I use my "Individual" pre -"UCC" "Enveloper"- that is working perfectly.......so you will hear me refer to this product as the "Enveloper" and not the "UCC" because that is actually what I am using......I just had to have that "UCC"....go figure.......
Okay....after a year or so of having the original DVD.....I watched it.......and decided to make another "Envelobox" project (this idea is not on the DVD- I improvised).......This is a large (6x8) envelobox with a "view" -(made with a 11-1/4 x 11-1/4 DS-P-CS)- I cut out a section of the front of the envelope before taping it together and replaced it with acetate or transparency( for those of you wondering what acetate is....) .....so that you can see the card that is in the envelope.....I thought it was a cute idea......And I had a great time making it......So....what do you think?????????..... and, oh yeah..... thanks for looking.........
