Boy and Girl- Target "Altered" Mailbox

Earlier I posted the first altered Mailbox that I completed. Well, it was for my DGS and I needed to complete one for my DGD....I didn't want to procrastinate....so...... I went ahead and completed hers......So here they both are...complete and ready to send to them.....Sooooo....How did I do? They were very easy to make.......

1-4" strip from a 12x12 PP.
Traced the lid-2x's with coordinating PP
Doodlecharm cart for the envelopes and heart
ribbon and ric rac

These were as much fun to alter as the Target buckets....Thanks for Looking...

Okay.........I am off to create some "Inaugural Celebration" Layouts........

My Very First "Altered Mailbox"- For a Boy

So...I finally made a mailbox....I decided to make the "boys" mailbox first because I always seem to make my DGD's things first and then I am stuck and cannot figure what to do to change the gender of it.......So I think I have this one down.....I really don't have to change the colors....but I really thought these colors worked well for a boy......What do you think....Did I get it right?????
