"Love" Altered M's $1 Hanger

I altered a hanger that I purchased from M's during one of their $ day sales...I purchased a bunch of these hangers for 30cents a piece.......and decided to alter a few.....I also purchased a wooden "heart" charm....and altered it using part of a E-Valentine's kit that I purchased after seeing it used on a video on YT.  I also used most of this e-kit on another altered project.

This is one of the hangers that I used.......I altered it using the weathered wood technique....(the hanger in the final pic is a different style hanger. I purchased 3 different styles....)

and the wooden heart charm from M's $ spot

And the finished project.......The heart charm has a black ribbon attached that I changed out and used  two different colors vintage wrinkled seam binding and attached it to the hanger........I had fun with this one ..TFL yall......

February 2012 "Colors of Love" Tag Swap

I participated in the "Scrappy Style Swaps" Tag Swap.  The theme for the swap were hearts.  We had to make 2 tags and the colors were reds/pinks.  I used  Youtuber SaCrafters corrugated cardboard technique to make the window frames.  The tags were made using TH tag die....Spellbinders Dies  (hearts) and pepsi cans.  The hearts were dyed with TH Red Pepper Alcohol inks and embossed with embossing folders.  The tags are due February 11.  TFL...

2012 February "Colors of Love" Charm Swap

I participated in Lia's ("Scrapsation") February "Colors  of Love" Charm swap @ "A Piece of My Scraps" blog.  ....We had to use pinks and reds and make three (3). One of the charms is for the February birthday girl. For the presentation I used some wooden plaques (2 different types) that I found at "The Christmas Shoppe" and altered them.  They each had a word across them..which I sanded off.....and covered with printed cardstock.......I left it blank just in case the recipient wanted to place their name on it...................I also stamped words, cut them out and glued them to each of the hearts and on the other two ...I glued the words around each heart........The red and white checkered bows were on two of the plaques ...so I untied them and cut them in half and placed the other half on the other plaques.......I also used  MM creative letter stickers for "14" ........ These were quite fun to make .......TFL

and the charm ...... (each of the charms are different - using almost the same elements in all of them )
